HUMANS BE LIKE:

Humans be like:
Let's create problems so that we have something to research and spend money on.

(PFAS, Pollution, Global warming, Mass extinction, Life style diseases, Nuclear weapons.)And solving these will give new problems to solve.

A never ending cycle indeed. To keep the business thriving and give a sense of purpose to minds that are not willing to question and work on the cause; instead, they state development as the answer to everything.

We are here to live, be happy and love, what is the need for all this unnecessary chaos? Development is no longer bringing comfort and ease to humans, it has become a synonym for hustle and race.

Because we couldn’t wash a few clothes we invented the washing machine. The machine wanted electricity, so more electricity was made. This needed more fuel and more fuel they burnt. Then they said that all this burning has polluted the environment. So to tackle pollution they started research and tadaaaa!!! New chemicals were born. Then they said that these chemicals are slowly killing humans and earth. Then again began research. Thus the cycle continues with no end in sight.

Proponents say that this is growth. Say that to the man/woman working 5 jobs a day with no time for family, fun or leisure, so that they can keep that washing machine running.

This was never the aim of development or growth. We were meant to evolve to embrace the mundane- the love in cooking for your family, the feeling of water on your skin, the fulfillment in being with plants and growing our own food.

So they say nature is the way and nature is the answer. There should be a balance. Science and technology is integral part of our life, but we should not let technology take over our lives. Question the studies and decisions. Remember that, Nature holds the solution to most of the problems, and answer to most of the problems lies in simplicity…
