Through the Realms of the  Magical lens…

Hi wanderer,

Hope you are not off in a rush. Even if you are, why the rush? Come let’s go sit by the hidden grove and have a chat. They say that sometimes we get to see fairies by the grove. Even if we don’t, a little chat never hurts. I will tell you what I learnt from the ancient book of life…

Come on now off we go… I will lead.

Sit, let’s talk…

So as I said I was reading the ancient book of life, and I came across an interesting passage. It talked about the magic lenses. Seriously! Can you believe??? But the most fascinating part is, it is not something bought or acquired. It is something all of us are born with.

To turn on your lenses you will need some practice. But from experience I can say that it becomes second hand once you get into the flow.

The ancient book of Life
  1. Just slow down– I know you must be thinking yeah right you have to read an ancient book to know this. But wait… When was the last time you saw a bee drinking nectar from a flower? Have you ever taken the time to follow a drifting feather? Now you know why it had to be written down.
  2. Let some things remain a mystery– don’t be in a rush to call everything a coincidence or brush things off that can’t be explained. Sometimes that call you get from the person you were thinking about is indeed telepathy. Although we grow up learning to think rationally, the truth is everything doesn’t require a rational explanation. We are not scientists looking for that last piece to explain the origin of Earth. So the next time you see a light orb at the corner of your eye, it need not be some dust reflecting light.
  3. Change how you describe things– it need not always be a blooming flower, try unfurling spells, or see it as a wizard doing his handy work. It need not be thunder, but the battle between two sky kingdoms. Why don’t you try describing a rainbow?
  4. Child’s imagination– if you choose to see the stairs to your room as a lava floor, then that is what it is. Try telling a child lost in make believe that their toys aren’t real. They will judge you for your lack of understanding.
  5. Child’s Curiosity– this is more like the above said. Take time to sit with things and understand. When was the last time you watched the grass swaying without a deadline popping up? When was the last time you drank a coffee/latte/ juice to savour the taste and not to stay alive? Although we understand gravity now, there are many things that we don’t understand. Sit with them and let it slowly pass.
  6. Life ain’t a serious feat– as I always say and will say again, no one is getting out alive. So what is the harm in adding little twists and turns to life? Why not die doing things we love? Why not extend the weekend to week? Honestly if I could, I would have squeezed the weekdays into a Sunday and extended the weekend over the other 6 days. Mannn how I wish I had a magic wand… Play around like a child, climb that tree again, dance like there is no tomorrow. Don’t make everything about projects and deadlines.
  7. See life in nature– not the birds and animals. But the whispering wind and laughing waves. Listen to them. Try and understand their language. Sometimes I do feel like the wind is consoling me when I feel sad or lost. Other times nature speaks through signs, there was a time when I was so lost and confused, clearly there was nothing more for me to do. As I was sitting all dejected, there came a wind that started blowing with force. It felt like an invitation to let go and dance. (You can call it crazy, but I felt happy.)
  8. Believe in synchronicities and patterns– repeating numbers, repeating messages, images etc.

So wanderer, life’s magic lies in our perception. Even the most mundane thing holds magic if looked properly. Do you see this rock? Where you see a rock, the right eyes see star dust and eons. See that tree stump? Where you see a withered tree, the right eyes see sculptures and layers.

So the lenses lie within us. We can either activate it or see the world as filled with pain, chores and errands. It is your choice my friend.

Oh! It is already late… So long my friend! Hope your journey will bring you back.

Keep Thinking…

Keep Shining…

BE THE CHANGE 💕
