Hi wanderer,

Today I got something delivered. I hoped it would be a secret scroll from some hidden land. Something covered in magic and spells. Or maybe an invitation to a forest elf party…

It was just another amazon package. Instead of spells, I got a cardboard box and tapes to unravel. I took the box in, to have a peep inside. With my dog by my side, more curious than me. There I fought like a knight to save that something from the dungeon of ‘the box.’

I looked at the something now free from the prison, as if trying to find some flaw. I tried with, hey… This isn’t what I ordered, I think they messed up. So I checked again, but it was exactly what I ordered. Still I felt as if something was amiss.

That is when I heard the noise from another battle ground. There was my dog playing with the box. Here I was not satisfied even after getting what I asked for. And there was my dog completely happy with the box. Seemed as if the World has been served to him.

That made me wonder are only humans always looking for ways to be unsatisfied? A simple box could take my dog over the moon. And I am sure, even 1 million dollars wouldn’t satisfy most of us.

Maybe that is why they say, Happiness is always hidden in plain sight… At least we don’t have to slay demons and dragons and walk through enchanted lands to find happiness. And maybe that is why most of us never feel truly happy.
